Ask Your Children for Input About Curriculum

I had a great conversation with my 14 year-old son about his school experience this year. It opened my eyes regarding how he saw homeschool and why he thought we decided to take this journey. He could not have been more far from the reality… but in the end the only thing that matters to him is his version of the truth. The conversation helped me understand what he needed for next year and what we absolutely have to avoid when it comes to his course/curriculum choices.

I hope the insights that I share here will encourage you to have your own sit down conversation with your children about what they like and don’t like. It will really help you make the right choice when it comes to homeschool curriculum for next year.

Thank you Anne. He has already showed an increased sense of excitement about what he is doing next year for school. I think it will give him a little ownership.
